When we invited Lonnie Johnson to Before It Happened, we knew we were going to have a blast. We couldn’t wait to find out about building rockets for NASA, his stealth bomber project at the famed Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and of course the blast that made him famous: his hit invention of the Super Soaker. What we didn’t know is that we were in for some big surprises.
